What a weekend! God thanks for taking us deeper and joining us in your mission to bring our friends deeper with you as well.

When my lovely housemate Amanda suggested attending this conference I jumped at the chance. Not only to get out of my little town of Albury but to also have the chance to meet other people my own age. I had never experienced anything like that and felt the calling to go, even though for the past several months I had felt myself drifting from God. Submerge::Intro was my tiny step and God’s huge leap to bringing me back to Him. Every session I found out something new and amazing not only about God but about myself. I found the discussions from everyone who attended to be honest and raw. The testimonies gave me hope and reminded me that I’m not alone in my struggles. After leaving Submerge::Intro I have begun seeking God more and everyday I feel His presence as I read from His word. I’m still struggling and have noticed that Satan is determined to continue his annoying attempts to make me stumble but I rest in the knowledge that I am a child of God and that He will never leave me nor forsake me. I truly cannot wait for the chance to attend another conference that encourages those in my age group to live for God no matter the cost and to grow in a deeper relationship with him.

A big thank you to all those wonderful volunteers who took the time out of their busy lives to help struggling young people discover and rediscover God in all His glory!
